Gallery barrier-free project passed unanimously

Thank you all for your patience and support of this important project.

On December 12th, 2016, the Gallery barrier-free project was passed unanimously by St. Albert City Council. The projected cost of the project is $1,555,116. The City have committed to providing 70% of the funding, this will allow the AHF to move forward with the project and secure the necessary grant funding required for completion.

Architectural plans created in 2016 by David Murray Architect and Sturgess Architecture to make the building accessible include an elevator, wheelchair accessible entrance and washrooms. Currently exhibitions are on the main level, programs are held in the basement, with Art Rental & Sales upstairs.
