Gallery Shop Submissions
The Art Gallery of St. Albert (AGSA), a contemporary public art gallery, is seeking submissions from artists or artist groups of all artistic and cultural backgrounds working in all styles and mediums for exhibition in the 2018 calendar year.
The Gallery strives to provide an exhibition schedule and corresponding programs that support educationally challenging art and appeal to many audiences. Artworks selected for exhibition must provide vision, inspiration and education for residents of St. Albert and surrounding communities. AGSA is committed to presenting both originality and a diversity of styles and mediums. The Gallery endeavours to showcase artists who exhibit locally, nationally and internationally.
Submissions are adjudicated by a panel of visual art professionals who represent a spectrum of expertise in the visual arts. The artists chosen to exhibit will receive CARFAC fees.

The Art Gallery of St. Albert (AGSA) is seeking submissions from artists. designers and artisans in the capital region for a pop-up market on April 22, 2017 between 11am and 3pm.
Table fees for the market are $20.

Calling all artists, designers, illustrators, and the artistically inclined: show us your most creative mail art! We are celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday with a cross-country, multi-media, multi-participant, mail art extravaganza. Mail art is an inclusive and playful artistic movement, centered on the sharing of small scale art using the Canadian postal service.
The Rental and Sales Gallery accepts submissions from artists in the community and beyond twice annually. Artists receive 60% from sales of their artwork and 50% of rental revenues.
Up to three (3) works maximum may be submitted as digital images with proper documentation as follows: title, year, medium, sale price, dimensions, and edition number for limited edition prints and photographs. Mailed submissions will not be returned.
Selected artwork must be matted on acid-free board and where appropriate, framed and wired adequately for weight. Work will be refused if it does not meet this requirement.
Each work must be signed.
Please include with your submission an artist’s resume detailing past or upcoming exhibitions and other galleries where you sell your work (if applicable). An artist’s biography and statement should accompany submissions.
We require that if selected, works be available to the Rental and Sales Gallery for no less than two years.
If work is inactive for a period of more than six (6) months, the Rental and Sales Gallery reserves the right to return the piece(s).
Results of jurying will be made available within four weeks of the submission deadline. In busy times only successful applicants will be contacted.
