Join us for an artistic afternoon! Each month we present a different art sampler class – perfect for those wondering which art medium is perfect for them! This creative program for adults includes a guided tour of the current exhibition, professional instruction and artist-grade materials.

Artistic Afternoons runs the third Thursday of the month all year long. *Please note that a small Eventbrite fee is applied for all Community Class bookings.


Printmaking Sampler

Explore up to 3 printmaking techniques including collograph, linocut, monoprints and more!  Come discover the power of process, push your creativity and learn new ways of art-making while being inspired by the current exhibition Atlantic Rim: Ecologies. No previous experience necessary. All materials included. Advance registration required.

Next class: Weaving 101

Taking inspiration from the exhibition Matrillineal Threads, create a woven textile artwork to hang on your wall, use in your home, or turn into a stylish accessory. Experiment with a range of materials and techniques for turning yarns into fabrics. No previous experience necessary.  All materials included. Advance registration required.
