Join the Art Gallery of St. Albert on Friday, June 21 between 10 am and 4:30 pm to recognise National Indigenous People’s Day. The Gallery windows will feature a vibrant display of printed flags, each adorned with a Cree word that shows one of the tipi pole teachings.

The Gallery will be offering a by donation drop-in printmaking program throughout the day in their Art Nook. Visitors can learn about each of the tipi teachings, create their own print to take home and add a print to our window display. Once completed, the final string of printed flags will be hung in the largest window on the main floor of the Art Gallery of St. Albert. This art activity is suitable for all ages.

The program will be available from 10 am to 4:30 pm, admission is by donation.
