Retinal Circus

February 1–March 31
Nina Haggerty Centre
Retinal Circus | Nina Haggerty Centre at Art Gallery of St. Albert

The Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts in Edmonton provides a supportive environment where people with developmental disabilities are empowered to become practicing artists. Supported by a team of professional, enthusiastic artists, over 200 members of the collective create art at their own pace and are encouraged to find their unique voice.

Retinal Circus features an eclectic array of artists working across a variety of mediums: painting, ceramics, fibre arts, printmaking, and more. Subject matters are far-ranging and this optically stimulating exhibit broadcasts loudly and proudly that all community members benefit from having full access to the arts.

Opening Reception: Saturday, February 3, 2:30–5pm

During the 2017-18 Gallery barrier-free renovation, please visit us at our temporary location at #100, 6D Perron Street until September 2018.
