International Children’s Festival 2012: Art Gallery of St. Albert presents TransFORMation
Participants in TransFORMation will work together to transform an art studio into a fantastic garden full of colourful papier mâche plants, animals and other objects! Sculptures of flora and fauna from every continent will be constructed each day and added to the garden. Humour and whimsy will prevail!
Children will help build the forms, paint and embellish them, and ultimately position them as part of an overall installation. Sculptures will be created from wire, newspapers, cardboard, found objects, paste and paint. Progress will be documented with photos posted daily on our website.
