Children become curators and archivists while working in small groups as they solve “mysteries,” looking at a variety of objects and pictures up close to decipher how these items were used in the past. Intuitive thinking is a key element of this program as students are encouraged to make guesses. Ultimately students share their ideas and gain new insight by identifying the objects and their uses as well as a better understanding of the past, present and future.
