Exhibition Information Gallery Floor PlanGuilded – Reflections
Art Gallery of St. Albert (AGSA) is seeking SAPVAC Guild members, working in their guild medium, to take part in the exhibition Guilded – Reflections. This juried exhibit will take place from November 17, 2022 to January 28, 2023.
All five Guilds; Floral Art, Painter’s, Paper Arts, Potters and Quilters’ will be represented and exhibited works will be inspired by the theme “Reflections”. Artists interpret the theme individually, informed by their own experience, interests and their unique artistic practice. From the literal to the metaphorical, there are many potential avenues of exploration and expression.
Artists are encouraged to submit up to 5 individual pieces. In addition, each guild is also encouraged to create and submit a collaborative piece related to the theme. This collaboration could take the form of a large installation work with various members working together to create one piece or it could come from a series of small individual works designed to fit together to become a larger work. Group projects will be displayed together in the exhibition.
To express your interest in participating please complete the attached application form. You will also need to provide up to 5 digital images of the works you wish to be considered. Collaborative pieces will only need one expression of interest form and should have a single member from the group as a primary contact person for the collaborative project.
