Get ready to join us for art-making fun this summer! Explore new and familiar materials including collage, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and more. Class themes change each week and will be posted on our website. Register for one class or every class, whatever suits your schedule.

  • July 6–Magnificent Magnetic Puzzle Paintings: Join us to create your own magnetic puzzle using mini canvases and acrylic paint!
  • July 13–Needle felting Pins: Join us to learn some felting basics and create your own wearable pins!
  • July 20–Found object printmaking: Make a design on cardstock using found materials such as buttons, ribbons and more. Then using colored ink and rollers, create colorful prints by stamping your design on paper
  • July 27–Collect, Collage and Create your own sticker: Use found image materials and magazine images to create your own wacky and fun collages to turn into stickers!
  • August 3–Monster Mashup: Join us for a fun drawing game! We will be creating colorful mixed up monsters using pencil crayons and markers!
  • August 10–Spectacular scratchboards: Join us in making your very own scratchboard and learn how to create beautiful scratch art drawings.
  • August 24–Nature printing: Join us in creating colorful nature prints using ink, rollers, leaves, sticks and more!
  • August 31–Art button Summer Celebration: Join us in creating fun and colorful drawings and then turning them into wearable buttons!

We strive to keep staff, volunteers, visitors and program participants safe in our programming spaces and we will continue to follow all provincial government regulations.

Our programs include the following safety protocols:

  • All staff and instructors are fully vaccinated
  • Those experiencing illness should not attend class (refunds/transfers available on a case by case basis)
  • Individual supplies for each student
  • Increased cleaning of high-touch surfaces
  • Individual supplies for each student
  • Masking is encouraged

Please note, there may be an occasion where we are unable to safely offer regular classes consistently due to the unpredictability of COVID-19. This could result in classes being interrupted, canceled, or moved to online, depending on the program.
