Guilded – Reflections provides a retreat, a respite from the day to day, into a realm of beauty. Dozens of incredible local artists come together for this treasured biennial exhibition, showcasing stunning works created by members of the St. Albert Place Visual Arts Council (SAPVAC).

Vibrant individual and collaborative works are included, representing each of the five guilds: St. Albert Potters Guild, Painters Guild, Floral Art Society, Quilters’ Guild and Paper Arts Guild. The Guilds provide a place to nurture the artistic talent, creativity and diverse skill sets of their members. Exchanging knowledge and skills, artists support one another’s creative exploration and life-long learning.

Every two years, Guilded gifts us with a small glimpse into a vast array of creative practices. From exceptional executions of traditional techniques to imaginative innovations, participating artists raise the bar, surpassing the superb quality of the previous iteration.

In 2022, Guilded centers on the theme of Reflection. Artists have pulled from their own experience, inspired by their unique creative practices. Through their work, the artists lead us through winding landscapes and memories long past, while treasuring the quiet moments that can be found in between.
